Homemade peanut and dates biscuit and bread spread

This is a post I enjoyed writing and making. I made it with my younger sister who basically inspired it and we had some good laugh while we were making it.

1/2 cup of date

1/2 cup of peanut

2 teaspoons of cocoa powder

2 teaspoons of milo

2 teaspoons of milk

1/4 cup of water

The peanut was blended by my sister using the dry blender to ease the next process, especially since we did not use a food processor.

I like how almost all the ingredients are grades (shades) of brown. Beautiful. These ingredients, the powdered peanut, dates, cocoa powder and water were added to the wet blender and blended till smooth.

Note: If you use a food processor you won’t needed as much water.

Two teaspoons of powdered milk and two teaspoons of Milo (hot chocolate powder) was added to make the spread a bit thicker

So easy and yet sweet. In less than 30 minutes you have your homemade peanut and dates spread. The spread was then placed in the freezer to thicken up!

I had to try it before freezing though and I tell you, worth my time.

What kind of homemade spread have you tried or made?

I would like to know.

Please do. Tell a friend or two about my blog today.
