Twice cooked potatoes wedges

Today food post is quite simple.

Like I have mentioned before, I like to try food in different forms so that it can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.

What did I use?

10 large potatoes

Three cloves of garlic

1/2 a thumb size of ginger

A cup

What did I do?

The potatoes were peeled and then cut in large slices. Each potatoes was cut into three, four or six slices.

The potatoes was then put in a pot and put on high heat to cook for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the potatoes as taken out from the pot and allowed to rest in cold water While it was resting, the mix for the batter was prepared. The barter mix included one cup of grounded oats, three cloves of garlic, half a thumb size of ginger, half a tablespoon of salt, a table spoon of dried pepper, a tablespoon of thyme and half a cup of water.

The potatoes were dipped in the batter mix in batches and placed on a tray.

This tray of bartered potatoes was put in the freezer for about 15 minutes before it was fried.

In-between frying, I put the un-fried batch of potatoes in the freezer so it remains firm.

The sauce I made was made with three table spoons of the dehydrated tomatoes, peppers and onions sauce that I previously made and chopped and grated vegetables including green beans, carrot and onions. Two pinches of salt was added to the sauce and viola!
