Align yourself with God

Align yourself with God.

Here I am, listening to Apostle Joshua Selman and taking notes.

I am gaining understanding that with God there is always a pattern. God is not expected to fit into our mold

From Jeremiah 6:16 we understand that we should seek for the right path and we should walk and work in that path, so that we can enter our sabbath, our rest and avoid doom.

“This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭6:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We find rest only when we walk and work in God’s ways. When God’s glory shines through, it means his patterns, the ways he approves of, have been kept.

When God is present, it is known. You have to insist that the pattern, that the ways of God are kept in your life. You have to align with God.

Let self and ego die.

The presence of God is a place you should stay, not visit, but stay.

Don’t create a theology just around your frustration such that your ministry stays in a place where you limit people to the experiences you have had.

In the dealings of God, timing is important. The fact that God loves us does not mean his presence is cheap.

It takes more than being available to be used by God. You come as you are but are not necessarily used as you are.

You have to die to yourself. A level of complete surrender to Christ.

A dead man has done away with ego! When you have ego, your flesh would interrupt the program of God.

Love God above ego and money.

Until all of you desires all of God you will not find him. Align yourself with God. Not a bit, not in moderation but TOTALLY!

I hope you live daily with eternity in mind.

  1. It really struck me the part about not only sacrifice of seeds, but of self.
Thanks for a word in season.

  2. So many points to take away….we really are required to let go of flesh and have God lead us….life is actually more enjoyable that way. Thanks for sharing
