You are reading this!
If you are reading this, it means it’s 2019 or its the year after.
I am here (2018) on my bed in tears writing gratitude to people who have helped me through 2019 and my husband is graciously tending to our most obvious gift of 2018, our son Elnathan.
We all need each other. While I agree that we should choose the company we keep, I want us to take a moment to appreciate those positive company and people that have helped us and brought us this far.
Goodness!, my 2018 and some of the years before that had some great trials, the devil tried me and failed. From having to deal with series of miscarriages to finding my foot and understanding marriage to having to deal with mental health challenges and physical health and through it all, God helped me and what’s more? He put people ahead of me to cushion every burden that I would eventually come to have to bear.
I am so grateful for every human being that spoke a word or said a prayer or carried out one action or the other that led to 2018 being such a year of undeniable blessings. Some of the people that have helped me funny enough, I may or may never meet, they are the ministers of the gospel whose messages I listened to continuously or whose music I played.
If you haven’t yet said thank you to some of the heroes of your 2018, I encourage you to do some of today, starting with God!
God I love you. I love you so much. I think it would be humanly impossible to write how greatly I am in awe of you and your wonder. How I am so sure that you are so much more than my mind would ever be able to fathom. God, father 🙌🏼 thank you. I love you Lord.
To all my readers, thank you for reading, you are one of the reasons I write, so that the impact and blessings God has given me can be shared and hopefully become a blessing to you. So thank you for opening my blog and reading. It means a lot to me.
As I go into the new year, I am walking in grateful. The next thing I am walking in with is peace. My life is far from where I want it to be but it’s far from where it was a year ago so I am grateful and I have decided to choose peace instead of worry because worry produces negative fruits and I know that in peace, there is hope and clarity. So I am walking in with Peace believing God has heard and seen the obvious and silent cries of my heart and soul and he would answer. The next thing I am walking in with is intentionality, so for every goal I hope to achieve, I would be intentional about achieving the said goal. Writing down. Checking myself up routinely and answering to some accountability partners. Who wants to hold me accountable. One more thing I would be working into 2019 with is networking! I want to consciously value the networks I have and build healthy additional ones.
These are not all! But they are starting points!
What are some things you have moved into 2019 with?
Happy New Month!
I pray you shine brightly this year in Jesus Christ name! Amen!
