“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.””
Psalm 46:10 NIV
What a year!
I am thankful for many things. Elnathan, our son is one of my major thanksgivings!
Goodness! For him we prayed and hoped and God answered. Elnathan means God’s gift and he is such a gift! I remember last week Sunday in church after one of the thanksgiving sessions that I went out to dance for, someone joked that it’s Elnathan I should have dropped at the altar as thanksgiving 😀.
He is indeed in many ways a reflection of God’s Grace, Mercy, Favour and love.
To God be all the glory 🙌🏼
Oh and Happy new month to you 😊
Thank you for coming on my blogging and reading and commenting.
Happy December
As we have entered into the last month of 2018 and begin to bid 2018 good bye, I guess some of us would be reflecting on the year.

Imagine all the things we were worried about, how the year would go, if we would have that job, car, house, if that boss would like you, fire you, if your relationship would go on or not, if your would have that child, if your health report would come back positive and if you would make it through the year.
Here you are. Here I am. We made it. But not by ourselves. God brought us this far.
As we all reflect on the year, I encourage us all to be still and be thankful.
This is a good time to look back at the year, not with regret, but with a heart of gratitude. Be thankful to God even for the fact that you are alive, whether you achieved your aspirations or not.
“Anyone who is among the living has hope —even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!”
Ecclesiastes 9:4 NIV
You see! I am basically trying to tell you that you need not despair! Look, you are alive and that’s a canvass for many beautiful paintings.

“Rejoice always,”
1 Thessalonians 5:16 NIV
“pray continually,”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 NIV
“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV
So today and the rest of the month and your life (and mine) let’s rejoice, pray and give thanks.
Plus symbolically, we get to celebrate the greatest gift to mankind this month, Jesus ❤️
Christmas 2018 is around the corner 🎉
So be still and thankful, look at your future with a happy heart! God is good!
Happy DECEMBER
