Tip: You can make a smoothie-like flowing paste of Avocado and use to reduce the peppery taste in your food. An alternative to yoghurt and you get some health benefits while doing that. 😊 You are welcome.
Happy Sunday! I hope you are resting and detoxing this weekend. Mental health is important and we need to take care of that.

Now on to today’s post, You probably already have your mind set on what you would eat for lunch today. So you could try this for dinner or you could save this post (bookmark it on your device) and come back to it when ever you want to try it out.
If you have read some other of my posts you would see that I like to try out healthier versions of food and to explore simple additions to food that makes them taste a little different but still delicious.
Recently, well not so recently, avocado has been my thing and so I decided to incorporate it into one of my savory meal, something you may or may not be accustomed to. Some people are accustomed to eating avocado by itself or with salt, some are used to having it with savory dishes, rice, swallow and the likes. Whatever class you fall into, this is a simple dish to try. You can have it as a side dish or as a snack bite for your visitors.
One table spoon of curry
One Knorr seasoning cube
One tea spoon of thyme
Two teaspoons of dry pepper
One teaspoon of ginger
Two table spoons Blended onions
Three table spoons of Blended avocado
8 pieces of (regular cut size) cooked chicken
In a bowl mix the onions, curry, ginger, thyme, knorr, pepper and avocado smoothie.
[Avocado smoothie: You can make the avocado smoothie by hand, just scrap the flesh of one small or medium size Avocado into a small bowl and add about 100 mls of water and mash with a fork. Alternatively, put the avocado flesh in blender and add the 100 mls of water and blend. ]
After mixing all the ingredients in a bowl, add the chicken and mix again then leave to marinate for an hour.
After one hour of marinating, put a pan on the stove with three table spoons of vegetable oil and then add the marinated chicken, cover the pan and allow to shallow fry and brown for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side. When it’s the brown to your liking, take it out and serve.
Simple but tasty. I had mine with the avocado as dipping sauce and the sauce from the HLK blend of peppers, peppered chicken. 😋
Will you try this??
