Identity is such an important element of a person’s life because it determines the course of that life. I believe at the core of every human being is someone or something that becomes the driving force behind the life we choose to live or live. The decision of identity can sometimes transcend, what friends and family think. We however have to be wise as we choose what becomes our course and who we identify with and as. It’s quite unstable to choose or to hold onto a man/woman as the driving force of your whole life. They change and so do you. God however is the Highest of highest. He is the same yesterday, today and forever more. He is Love!
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 NIV
What a joy to receive not just life, but one that is ETERNAL! Easter is the remembrance and celebration of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus CHRIST. I believe it requires more than the human mind to try and comprehend or at least receive in their spirit the truth that God, Jesus, came and died for the sins of You and I.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 NIV
There’s however no one at the cross anymore. You know what? Even the tomb/grave is empty! He is not at the cross or the tomb/grave anymore! HE IS RISEN!
“Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”
Romans 8:34 NIV
Thank God for amazing Grace, for love that makes me and you redeemable! It’s because CHRIST died and arose that I am now a CHRISTian. My identity today is founded on the coming, dying and rising of Jesus Christ.
If you are looking for who you are, I call you to know Jesus Christ, so you may find and know your true identity.
Hallelujah, Because of Christ, I am! He is the reason I am. He is the one look at, so that I can Mirror Him. I don’t know any love greater than the one that Christians today reflect on. The love of God.
God’s love is rich, alive and able to save you. Please come to Him.
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
Matthew 28:6 NIV
Happy Easter to you
